A friend of mine while on vacation took these photos and said I could post them if I'd like. Quite a nice humvee conversion!

Would that technically be considered "propaganda"? It's pretty darn nice, and I can see where it'd appeal to high-school/early college age guys. I just hope they don't think that's a 'typical' army HMMWV!

The Marines, Army and National Guard recruiters all have access to these type HMMWV's. They are real world HMMWV's that have been jazzed up. Some only have paint and military decals. Others have Jam Systems, video screens, GPS, computer war games, etc. They are used to get the possible recruits attention more than anything. These are typically displayed at car/truck shows, parades, law enforcement days, high schools, etc. The recruiters office where I moved from had three. They also get guys in the motor pool to do the conversion, it helps build pride from within as well.

Great Pics,
When I get the chance, I'll post some of our State HUMMV (Indiana).
It's Red, White and Blue, but not near as good of a sound system.

It's County Fair time. The National Guard was on hand to try some recruiting and this Humvee with cosmetic surgery was one the recruiting tools. Sure drew lots of attention.

Tires are 38's on the Alabama Army National Guard rig. I took those pix a couple years ago, while on vacation down in Gulf Shores, and forwarded them to Thomas.
