HMMWV hoods and tailgates

Postby superburban » Tue Mar 20, 2007 4:57 pm

I have 4 each HMMWV hoods and tailgates for sale. They are in surpluss condition (dings and scratches on the tailgates and bashed, but workable corners on the hoods). 2 of the tailgates are blank, 2 say AMGeneral.

I am asking 150 apiece for the hoods.
I want 125 apiece for the tailgates.

You pay whatever shipping costs.

Just PM me if interested.

I think you misspelled that. It should have read "I'm a hijacker"

rmarx, Hey, where are you in FL? I'm in Lutz just above Tampa. How far along are you? I'm just getting started myself, got my donor and some steel for Section 1.

Superburban, I need a tailgate in FL also. Can you find out pricing to the Tampa area, Lutz specifically. Thx

If the tail gate says "AM General" on the back then its what I am looking for.

I've got one that says "A M GENERAL" on it. That was the one I wanted in particular, but I could probably part with it, as I am too damn poor to do anything with it for a long time. I have to get to the farm to check it out, and take pics. I only get out there about once a month as it is 120 miles away from here.

No. It's been a long time since I relaxed on the replica parts-gathering thing. I've gotten into gun building big time, and slowly all my HMMWV parts have been sold or traded to make way for parts kits or machine tools.

Someday I'll build or buy a HMMWV. Just not now.

Thanks for responding anyway. I just decided to change the rear corners on my build... so I thought it would be good to buy some nicer bits than I could manufacture in my driveway.

... and good luck on the gun building.
