Am I an unfeeling bastard for not feeling a twinge of pain after seeing this? If it were an H1, I'd be upset. For some reason, I never cared for the H2s. To me it's almost as if they're stealing the limelight from the H1. Hey BigBird, got any meds around the office that might help me here?? :D

Seeing the H2 wrecked got me to thinking about parts as surely this is not the first one sitting in an automotive recycling yard. I know the transmission shifter is a leather wrapped handle, but is the transfer case a push button or dial model? I did not see it in any of the brouchures and I never thought about it when I saw one up close. Too bad it is not a twin stick model like the H1.

It's not that the H1 is the only true Hummer.

Anything built by AM under this banner is a true Hummer.

It's just that Where the H1 is purposeful, masculine, has an all conquering air to it. The H2 looks like its drag queen little brother, who's saving up for the operation.

Flashy, Chrome and sparkles in all the wrong places, and pretending to be one of the fellas when your mates come around.

I'm just going to have to quote you with that description some time in the future! That's about as dead-on accurate a description as I've heard!

Yes, but unless it ends up in one of those books with trivial quotes made by people you have never heard of I have wasted my time.
